Hello!

This week has been pretty great! A lot of great things have happened and it's even hard to recap! The weather has been warming up and drying out along with the sun shining around the clock! The best weather is coming!

Where do I start... Okay. Well, every saturday, we play ward soccer on these turf fields, but one week (last week 9 days ago), nobody showed up but us and the sisters. So we were like, well, we'll just wait thirty minutes. So we just messed around for a little bit and waited to see who'd show up. Then this one dude shows up and asks us where we get a ball, and I told him that we brought ours from home. So he asked if he could play with us, so we said yes of course. Then we played with him for about an hour and a half, then gave him a card and asked him to come to church. He didn't go, but called us on Thursday and asked if we were playing again on Saturday. We told him yes, but asked if we could meet that afternoon. Met with him, he told us about his faith, then we taught him about the Book of Mormon and the restoration and committed him to baptism if it were true, he said he would only do it if it were true. So he committed, then we invited him to stake conference. He came, loved it and is meeting with us on tuesday, So that's super positive. That makes 3 that we have on baptismal date, but the date for the other investigators has been moving backward a little bit, but they'll make it with time!

Also, with the TV interview that we had a month or two ago - A lady called us last week and was talking to us about the TV interview. She thought it was so great that we could be with families forever and that's something she loved because she didn't have a family. Anyways, we taught her the Plan of Salvation on the phone, she asked to be baptized and she noticed the power of a testimony. She also loved the fact that our church had real intent, because in her opinion, the Danish People's church lacks that. But we're meeting with her tomorrow! It's a 3 hour train and bus ride out there, but it'll be worth it! So that was a miracle within itsself!

We had Stake Conference this week and that was really good. It was nice to see the whole Stake come together. The conference had some great talks, plus two of our investigators that are on baptismal date drove up with us to see it, and they also loved it!

This week has been great overall! The success here keeps climbing and I can see that it'll continue to climb. Esbjerg is a great city!

I hope you all get the chance to see the church's Easter website! It's called FollowHim.mormon.org. It's a great video and it helps us remember to be thankful for what Jesus Christ has done for us. It's good to see the amount of effort and love that the church spent to make the video! I hope you all check it out and share it with all of your amigos! ;)

I love you all! Have a great week!

Love,

Ældste Taylor Howes
